WINDHOEK (Reuters) - Namibia's central bank left its main lending rate unchanged at 5.5 percent on Wednesday, taking advantage of a moderate inflation environment to try and support economic growth in the mineral-rich southern African nation.
Bank of Namibia Governor Ipumbu Shiimi said inflation was low and expected to remain steady, while the economy was growing at a slower pace compared with 2012 levels.
